The Spring Festival is the Chinese Lunar New Year, is about February every year. Every Lunar New Year corresponds to a sign of the Zodiac. For example, 2019 is the Year of the Pig. The Spring Festival and the Ching Ming Festival, the Dragon Boat Festival and the Mid-Autumn Festival are also known as the four traditional Chinese festivals. It is the most important festival for the Chinese people throughout the year. The whole celebration is about 15 days.  People will Clean the house, wear new clothes, paste couplets, paste blessings(when sticking the window decoration paper-cuts, people paste on the door large red chinese character “fú”a red “fú”means good luck and fortune), eat dumplings, “Shǒu Suì”(means to stay up late or all night on new year’s eve), set off firecrackers, give the children a lucky money and so on. “ChúXī” is the last day of the last year. At that day,the whole family gathers together and eats the dinner.the new year’s feast is “a must” banquet with all the family members getting together,The elders distribute the “lucky Money” to the children, and  welcome the New Year together. The children will wear beautiful new clothes and set off firecrackers.
